As a charitable subsidiary of Age UK, we take Age UK's commitment to older people and apply it internationally.

The Age UK network also consists of Age Scotland, Age Northern Ireland, Age Cymru, and more than 160 local partners.

HelpAge International

HelpAge Internaional logoHelpAge is a charity helping older people around the world.
It is also a global network of ageing organisations -  the HelpAge network has over 100 members in more than 70 countries.

Age International is the voice of HelpAge International in the UK  and a member of the HelpAge global ageing network.

As the UK voice of HelpAge, Awe: 

  • raise awareness in the UK of HelpAge's work
  • raise funds in the UK to support HelpAge's work
  • carry out policy and influencing work in the UK to challenge age discrimination

Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC)

DEC logo, we are a member of the DECWe are a member of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC).

The DEC brings together 13 leading aid agencies to raise money and save lives when there is a major international emergency.

Like all members of the DEC, Age International raises funds for DEC appeals. We are the only aid organisation within the DEC to specifically target older people in emergencies. We also work with other members to ensure that they address the needs of older people in their relief programmes.
